Statement-Media

Cheng Guo is a multifaceted and interdisciplinary artist whose artwork and design practice demonstrate a deep understanding of space and its connotations. Her undergraduate studies in exhibition design and her master’s degree in interior design have given her a remarkable sensitivity and creativity in the use and perception of space. Cheng Guo’s research covers a wide range of fields, including installation art, new media, architectural space, and costume props. She understands the interactive relationship between art and space. Through an interdisciplinary methodology, she combines philosophical discourse with visual art to explore and reveal the hidden layers and emotional resonance of space. She has a keen interest in social phenomena and information dissemination, and uses a variety of expressive methods to closely integrate art and life, creating works that are both visually striking and intrinsically thought-provoking.

She believes that art is not only a visual enjoyment, but also a spiritual pursuit and a collision of ideas. Her works are good at capturing the little moments in life, and through delicate observation and unique perspective, she transforms the tiny moments in daily life into artistic expressions with profound meanings. Her creative philosophy emphasises the popularity and interactivity of art, and she is committed to letting more people feel the power of art and the beauty of life.
